Linen Sheets
"Bed linens adorned with embroidery or lace should be ironed, but it is a delight to use unadorned linen sheets and pillowcases just as they come from the dryer or clothesline. One of linen's most endearing qualities is that it can look just as beautiful - and feel just as good - unironed. At the end of the day, it's comfort that counts."

LINEN CARE

Given a reasonable amount of care, pure linen will last a lifetime and can be passed from generation to generation.

Laundering
Pure linen thrives with regular laundering so you do not need to save 'for best'. Linen sheds dirt far more easily than other materials and with thorough rinsing can come up 'as new' every time.

White linen articles without special finishes can be washed at temperatures up to 95°C (203°F). Use a stain remover on any stains before washing but do not use bleach as it weakens fibres.

We recommend a conventional machine wash and fast spin, then iron while still damp. Using a hot iron, creases and crumples will disappear instantly. Linen has a built in crispness so there is usually no need to starch.
